Applying Your Eyelash Extensions

Before you start:

  • Make sure you work in a well lit area and you would need a mirror. Preferably a make up mirror, due to it's magnification
  • Follow the instructions carefully
  • Do a sensitivity test
  • Remove your eye makeup with oil free makeup remover
  • Comb your natural lashes out with a lash comb.
  • Curl your natural lashes (if they are straight and pointy.)
  • Practice applying a fan lash without the adhesive on your lash line.

Sensitivity Test & Guide

To complete a sensitivity test, dip the tip of an individual lash in the adhesive and place it on the outer corner of your eye. Leave it on for 5 minutes to determine if you are sensitive to the adhesive. Be careful with the adhesive remover when you're removing your lashes we recommend working with a partner during the removal process. This should be used as basic instructional guideline. Get creative and practice the technique to achieve the set of lash that is unique to you. Remember, your natural lashes are supposed to be seen through the fan lashes. The last strands of the fan lashes should touch or overlap. The fan lashes acts a frame before you place the individual lashes. If your lashes are at a healthy state, you could use less of the fan lashes. Make sure the lashes are coated with a good amount of adhesive and place them directly on your lash line. When placing the individual lashes, always remember to place them directly on the top of the fan and natural lashes. To have a better view of where you are placing the lashes, pull your lids up by pulling on the area between your brow bone and your upper lid.

Applying Glue to Individual Lashes

With your eyes open:

To have a better view of where you are placing the lashes, pull your lids up by pulling on the area between your brow bone and your upper lid. This, you could see the lash line and a have better idea where to place the lashes. Try to attach the lashes to the root of your natural lashes. Place an XS Fan Lash on the inner corner of your eye, about 4 millimeters away from your tear duct. Angle the XS fan lash towards the bridge of your nose as a guide. (Example, when placing the XS fan lash in the right eye, angle the lash towards the left of the nose). When placing the M Fan Lash, attach it straight to your lash line, leaving a 4 millimeter gap between each lash base. The last strand of each fan lash should touch or overlap. Continue the next step by placing an S Fan Lash next to the M Fan Lash, leaving a 4 millimeter gap as well. The last fan lash should be placed outwards. Apply another S Fan Lash if needed. Depending on the length of your lash line, you could place as many fan lashes on each eye. (The model just used 4 fan lashes) Repeat this step on the other eye.

After applying all fan lashes on both eyes, place the individual lashes on top of your natural lashes and fan lashes. The fan lashes act as framework to support the individual lashes. Place as many lash 101A (9mm individual lashes) directly on top of the XS Fan and on your natural lashes. Apply 101A lashes side by side, try to replicate the natural growth of your lashes! Fill in the gaps between the XS and M Fan lashes with 101A lashes. (Remember that your shortest natural lashes are in the inner corner of your eye). Once you reach the M Fan Lash, begin to alternate between lash 101C and 101A. Repeat this step on the other eye. This is just a basic guide, be creative and add as many lashes to your heart desires.

Distribute lash 101C evenly throughout your lash line, reaching the outer corner of your eyes. Use the individual lashes to fill the gaps between all fan lashes. Continue to apply until your eyelashes look full. Choose the amount of lashes you desire. Customize your look! Repeat this step on the other eye.

Lash 101D gives your eyes a feathery look, due to its length. Start to apply lash 101D in the middle of your lash line. Space 101D lashes sporadically throughout your lash line, reaching the outer corner. By adding lash 101D to the other corner of your eyes, it creates the illusion of a "cat eye" and it makes your eyes appear larger. Repeat this step for the other eye.

Be sure not to wet your lashes for 24 hours following application. Store the adhesive in a cool area. We customize the type and length of lashes, please refer to product page for details.
